STRAPPED is a Los Angeles–based sexual wellness shop centered on pleasure, access, and community.

We sell consciously-priced inclusive adult toys and intimacy products with a focus on women and LGBTQ+ folks. We want the shop to feel approachable and playful, because if you’re not having fun, why do it?

Alex Banx

Alex has spent over 15 years in the pleasure industry watching it fail the people it claimed to serve. From working the floors of one of the sleaziest retail shops in town, to reviewing products as a community expert, they saw first-hand how the industry prioritizes corporate gimmicks, fleeting trends, and cis-male desires over quality, safety, and real human need.

DoItStrapped.com launched in early 2025 to replace that culture of exploitation and manipulation with a shop built on genuine respect for the pleasure-seekers. As a long-time kink-positive advocate and activist, Alex views pleasure as a non-negotiable human right and essential for mental well-being. They aren’t here to coach anyone’s relationship; they’re here to ensure you have the tools to navigate your own joy. Whether you are solo, playing with a partner, or anything outside or in-between, you (and your partner, if applicable) deserve to be fully pleasured and empowered by each experience.

Zeena Margarita Banx – (In Memoriam)

Zeena, co-founder, was the grounding force and spiritual healer necessary to build this sanctuary. While her beauty was undeniable, it was her mind and her heart that directed the foundation of STRAPPED. Z was a constant companion through the labor of creating this space, teaching the importance of firm boundaries and the quiet power of knowing one’s worth.

Highly melanated, sleek, statuesque, and fierce, Zeena lived an unapologetic gender binary-defying freedom that became the blueprint for the Revolution. She was hands-on in the process, from assisting at the computer to helping vet the tactile appeal of new products. Z was more than an inspiration; she was a reminder that pleasure and peace are non-negotiable. Her legacy is woven into every corner of this shop, reminding us that owning your space is the ultimate act of self-care.
